The Mulberry Street residence is located in Over-the-Rhine. Perched on a hillside with views of the Cincinnati downtown area. Because the property is located in a Historic District, certain exterior design criteria and guidelines had to be met in order preserve the historic architecture of the neighborhood. From the street view, the 3-story home emulates an historic-style house, but with light grey, random-length concrete brick. This 3,100 square foot industrial modern design, has a monobeam staircase and expansive windows allowing natural light to flood throughout. From the back of the home, an exterior cube element serves as striking outdoor balcony, which expands off the main living area from wall-to-wall folding doors. The balcony also features a green wall and a spiral staircase, which leads to an intimate rooftop deck angled purposely for ultimate privacy while taking in city views.
